Residenza Bendinelli-Sauli

The apartment was amazing , so beautiful , patterned terrazzo floors , high painted ceilings this apartment was incredible . Large generous rooms , lots of space - open the bedroom windows and the view across the square at the Cathedrale was stunning . The first thing we did on entering apartment was take photos - it was a delight .

Not a lot of hot water for showers but apart from that the apartment was wonderful

Perfect location. Sat on the veranda and watched people at the cathedral night and day. Close to lots of restaurants of all kind. The apartment was gorgeous, the bed was comfortable, lots of pillows, and it was huge. Had an elevator for my husband who has trouble with steps. Elena communicated well.

Great location and amazing view.

Misinformation regarding facilities. Claims to have laundry, mini bar, snacks, room service, breakfast in room, and mini mart on site - none of this is true. Entry is like walking into a building site. Half the aircon didn't work. The interiors are bizarre, and it has the smell of old throughout. Not particularly clean, did not feel comfortable. Mouldy peaches in fridge, minimal was an unplug wine fridge, snacks were pack of dry toasts with an already opened jar of jam and outside furniture was a joke!

on all appearances it was big and spacious.

there was only one bath towel, there were no sheets on the bed. the write up says there is a washer and there isn’t. we had to find a laundry service. The church square was noisy starting at 6:30am.

lovely period property and in good location

the lifts were not working throughout our stay, which was cumbersome as we had huge luggage and two old folks in our group. The property is located on the 2nd floor, which was quite a hike without the lifts. The host did reassure us that someone was going to repair the lifts, however they were still not working when we checked out. Would have appreciated if the host had sent someone to help with the luggage proactively in light of this.

The apartment was fabulous. It was spacious, beautiful, clean and in an excellent location. There was everything that we needed available. Would absolutely recommend.

As you'd expect in such a central location, there was a fair bit of street noise. This didn't bother us especially and added to the atmosphere, but I would recommend ear plugs for sleeping as the noise does tend to continue through the night. Also, the wall mounted shower head is a bit odd, and just gives a single stream of water directly onto your head! A very minor point though, wouldn't stop us staying again.
