The house was very pretty but the neighborhood (kiriyat jaim) not at all. I also liked a lot that the host let me stay until late, and the place was very clean!

The neighborhood (Kiriyat Jaim, NOT Haifa) was not pretty at all. And the place didn’t come with fork and knives to eat, which is basic for an apartment, but I am sure they will fix that.

Though it's in a rundown building, the apartment is nicely renovated. The location is right on the beach, and there's a nice short boardwalk next to it with a couple of cafe's for breakfast etc. The door code is easy to use and requires no interaction with the host. The small bottle of wine was a nice touch.

The kitchen is not equipped for anything other than cold/hot drinks (black coffee, tea bags & sugar are provided). There is a microwave but no oil/salt/pepper/milk or plates/pans/cookware. The main issue we had was that the apartment was full of long black hairs - on the floor, in the hot tub, in the shower and in the bed.
