This is a pleasant modern room in a low-rent area. Building and street are not going to win any prizes but the room should as it is very reasonably priced, comfortable and well-equipped. There are a great falafel stand and big supermarket uphill on the main road, and 40 shekels to park right next door is a huge convenience.

I stayed 3 weeks. Got the last "deluxe studio". Location near stores/shopping and transportation good. Elevator available for upper floors. Cookware and "kitchen" were adequate. Large walk-in shower in bathroom. Nice, clean cookware, dishes and table ware. (Plastic knob broke off Dutch oven lid. Bought another lid ~ 14 nis. Skillet had no lid - bought one for it too ~20 nis.) Cooktops available, but you have to ask for one.

Construction noise in office next door one day. Water was off most of another day. There were two large roaches in the cooking counter, one in the bathroom - I caught and flushed all three. A forth one got away under the bathroom counter. I hadn't seen roaches in a rental in over 50 years. Strange over powering chemical smell at times - from hair salon? Mold smell under sink. Noise above, child yelling and running, woman walking in heels, Double bed was two singles pushed together. Room very small ~ 5m x 4m. (Excluding bath.) I believe I paid 17% VAT tax though I had a tourist visa, yet to be refunded.

Samir, the hotel manager, was very helpful and attentive. Good location. Friendly environment in central district. Small hotel at the 2nd floor of public building.
