Super cottage !! Très chaleureux, propre et confortable. Idéalement situé près de Hofn. Les hôtes étaient très accueillants et prévenants. Ils nous ont permis de rester une nuit supplémentaire pour éviter de conduire pendant une tempête de neige.

It's very luck to have Anna in a snowstorm in Jan 2026! The hotel is very humanized, their staff Anna not only cared about me who was trapped in the blizzard, but also sympathized with my plight.Once again, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Anna and the hotel!

Apartment was lovely. As seen in images. Basic decor but clean and comfortable. Stunning view outside of mountains. Not the biggest of bathrooms but adequate.

Nos gustó todo, buena ubicación, amanecimos con todo nevado y tenía un paisaje precioso. La cabaña era muy cómoda y grande, estaba muy limpia y recogida. Además, Anna y su marido fueron muy atentos en todo momento y nos ayudaron con el coche, ya que la primera noche nos costó subirlo porque había mucho hielo y deslizaba un poco.

A localização é absolutamente magnifica. Tranquilo e com paisagem para o Glaciar. Local ideal para ver auroras. A casa é extremamente confortável e o alpendre um bónus, onde se pode observar a paisagem e estar protegida dos ventos, das chuvas e da neve.

Schönes, gemütliches Häuschen mit tollem Ausblick. Man hat seine Ruhe und kann die Zeit genießen.

Enjoyed our brief 1 night stay here. Place was clean & well equipped. Fantastic view from the deck!

The cottage is located miles from center of Höfn, but it’s not a problem for self driving, and it’s perfect for aurora observation.

The facilities in the cottage are a little dated.

The kitchen was fairly well-equipped overall.

这是我在冰岛全程住过的酒店/民宿里性价比最低的！ Among all the places I stayed in Iceland, this was unfortunately the least worth the price. The cabin seemed to be something the farm owner built specifically for guests, but for nearly €500 a night, it felt way too basic for what it cost. When we first arrived, I was surprised to see there were only two cabins. We had booked the more expensive “mountain view” one, but the bedroom side faced a hillside on the farm — the only place you could actually see the mountains was from the living room near the entrance. When I checked out, I took another look at the other cabin and the photos on Booking, and honestly, I was wonder if we might’ve been given the wrong room. The host did check my name before giving me the key though, so I just let it go since we were leaving anyway. The cabin itself felt a bit flimsy — the wind was strong that night, and it honestly felt like the whole place was shaking. The bedroom was very simply furnished, and the water heater in the bathroom ran out of hot water after just a few minutes, so we couldn’t really take a proper shower. I can’t even remember why I booked this place in the first place — but honestly, I really regret it. For this price, there are so many better options in Hofn.
