Food was so yummy and Specially Home Made Food, which will be the charry on Cake if you are travelling for so many days. Host - (Uncle and Aunty) have very nice nature. they provide us the homely environment, we never felt that we came at another location. Must recommended to everyone to experience this homestay. you will get a chance to explore with local peoples & their culture.

"Mountain homestay at Reckong Peo"

This warm, kind family made me feel welcome and at home immediately. They provided excellent meals, plenty of cups of tea and a range of local snacks, and also helped with some of the preparations for continuing up to the Spiti Valley. They even included me on a family outing to the pretty village of Kalpa and surroundings. The homestay is an easy 15 minute walk from the town centre, with breathtaking views from the balcony and roof.

Nothing, it was all good.

I had the best stay on my trip here. I am a female solo traveller who was travelling for a long time but this home stay, both uncle and aunty made me very much like home. Their rooms are very clean, the wifi works extremely well and the terrace view is breathtaking. Aunty even made mutton for me the next day and both uncle aunty dropped me to the bus station. I felt like they were my own family. It's a must stay, both for groups and solo travellers. They have a whole house dedicated to home stay. I love my stay there.

One of the best properties to stay if you are planning to explore reckong peo. The owners ( uncle and aunty ) are the kindest souls i have ever met. They also have a very cute granddaughter who will shower you with her smile and hugs and take away all your tiredness of long drive. They served the best food i had in the entire Spiti valley . Superb value for money .
