Kandy Royal Resort

The beds are big and towels are provided which is good. There was aircon and a fan so could pick depending on what we needed. Was great to have a huge drinking water jug available. It feels private and we never saw anyone else use the pool. Nice seating area outside the room too. Kitchen is well stocked so we could do some cooking. Spacious living room too. Staff are friendly too

The pool was a bit cold but refreshing if you’ve been out in the heat. There were some ants in the living room but nothing too major.

Le point fort est la piscine privée avec une superbe vue dégagée. Les climatisations sont là bienvenue mais un peu bruyantes. L appartement possède une salle de bain moderne ainsi qu une cuisine. Le gérant est serviable et à l écoute. Des commerces de restauration à proximité directe.

Accès sur les hauteurs, avec route très passante à traverser.

Erg behulpzame mensen, ze hebben gratis onze was gewassen en de tuktuk schoongemaakt. het appartement was ruim en schoon met een mooi eigen zwembad.

Het is een stukje vanaf het centrum.

We hadden een zwembad bij ons huisje en dat was heerlijk vooral ook voor de kinderen. Het appartement was ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaar was heel vriendelijk en heeft zelfs gratis voor ons de was gedaan.

Danushka, the host, was so helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble.The apartment was spacious, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Having a private pool was great and the views were amazing. The apartment is in a good location, just a few kilometres from Kandy town, which we were glad of, as the traffic and number of people in Kandy was crazy! The bakery across the road, which also serves hot food, was a place we frequented regularly! We found getting the local bus into Kandy was easy from near the apartment. It dropped off around the lake, including right next to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth relic or could go further into town..

We found the beds too hard for our liking, but appreciate that different people like different mattress types.

La piscine, la vue magnifique, la taille de l’appartement très grand et confortable et le propriétaire très sympathique.

Stunning location, with a great view towards a giant Buddha statue. Good sized apartment with a couple of big bedrooms, and some comfy couches. Staff were phenomenal, picking us up from the station and organising rides for us, and even washing our clothes for us!

The whole kitchen area is in need of an update, and there are a few ants and other insects that seem to have made a home there. There’s a little mould around the lining of the fridge.

Great view, nice and clean apartment and wonderful host. Just a short tuck tuck into the hustle and bustle of Kandy
