Comfiest bed we've had in Sri Lanka (in our 8 weeks trip). love the building and staff

the only problem we faced is difficulty reaching rooms as the property is located in the height and you have to use stairs. it is particularly difficult when you have heavy suitecase

Location is very close to the lake and Dalada Maligawa is within walking distance.

Although I was satisfied with other aspects, I have to say that the pillows were not comfortable for me.

Silent, Clean and Customer friendly.

Driving up to the property (got to be a small vehicle), excellent for back packers!

Best thing about this property is location, it's well past its prime, large house on the hill overlooking the Kandy lake. View is ok but that's about it. Not expensive but for a reason. Staff was nice.

The house isn't maintained and it shows its age. Our room was spacious with a nice view but the bathroom spoiled everything. It smelled real bad and the shower didn't drain properly plus the toilet brush was just propped against the wall without the stand. Lastly, sometime after we've left, an email came with adjusted booking details saying that we've only stayed there for one night, where in fact we've stayed there for two nights. It's probably to avoid paying higher fee. NOT NICE. Anyway, Kandy isn't really worth visiting unless you like watching elephants abuse during the annual religious celebrations.

The owner and the staff were very kind. Nice location just a 5 minute walk from the Kandy Temple. Beautiful View. Delicious foods. Comfy beds and spacious. Overall we had a best experienced.

The hotel location is hard to find. Once you find it, the road was so bad and narrow with a very sharp ascent. Your driver should be experienced otherwise you'll roll back down. The room is run down with a dirty sheet and leaking water pipe in the toilet. The most unusual things are the rules placed by the owner, I felt as if I'm staying in a school dorm. I finished my breakfast at 7.30 AM and informed the host that I will leave by 08.00 AM. She chased me to the room with the bill as if she wanted me to go quickly. 😊
