I've stayed at the Annex before so I let Phil know roughly what time I was going to arrive and kept him updated when I was held up by bad traffic and he was very accommodating and was there when I got in late so getting the keys and access to the Annex was very easy. Parking is in Phil's parking area at the rear of the property the entrance is a little tight getting in the entrance but in the past, I've parked a Land Rover Discovery there so as long as you take it slow getting in it's easy enough to park and is secure and off the main road so security is very good. The Annex itself is very well appointed with all you need for a stay, very clean and comfortable, the kitchen area is compact but well equiped, the fridge is small but adequate for your needs and in the Kitchen cupboards there are a supply of teas,coffee etc and Phil makes it known that if you need anything whilst your there you just need to ask/let him know so I'd take that as top ups of coffee/tea and washroom supplies i.e soap, loo roll and towels (as a seasoned traveller I always bring my own when staying so no worries there) The bathroom/shower are down two steps from the living room and just to the right of the entrance and suplied with towels and cleaning product for use should you need them and the shower pressure is very good too. The bedroom is upstairs with a comfortable double bed with I think memory foam and gives a good nights sleep. As a business traveller conectivity is important and the WIFI is fast and reliable and for streaming when you're relaxing its great, there are USB plug sockets throughout the house so charging your phones etc is not an issue anywhere in the house. Phil is friendly and a very accommadating host and is mindfull of your privacy and has struck just the right balence as an ideal host and i wouldn't hesitate to reccomend the Annex to others.

I have a disabled wife so I'm acutley aware of some needs that may present a challenge, so be aware the there are a few steps up/down to the bathroom and a narrow staircase to negotiate for access to the bedroom but this is not a negative just an informed observation

Very nice host - thank you very much, Phil! We had a good stay. And thank you for tomatoes which we received freshly from host´s garden - really nice and delicious. Washing machine with fast programs - this is what you need when you re on a road trip.

Bigger refridgerator would be nice!
