Even before i entered the property, the neighbour came up to tell me about noise due to walking from upstairs. Furthermore, within half an hour I get a call from the host about noise when I had not even settled in the flat with my luggage etc Found this really disappointing.

Close to groceries and the countryside. East access via car to Edinburgh.

Low quality furnishings. One of the stools was broken, beds were firm and not comfortable to sleep on, kitchen items were dirty in the drawers covered in sticky substances necessitating our cleaning everything before we could cook. Walls are thin so watching a movie upset our neighbors.

A beautiful house, with all you could need.

These are by no means complaints, just comments! - Could’ve done with larger towels - Lots of cigarette butts at main door to property, perhaps a bucket could be provided? We aren’t smokers but found the quantity of cigarettes thrown at the step made it feel a bit messy.

We loved it here and would gladly move in. The location was great for access to Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Stirling, the Cairngorms, and around Perthshire. The bedrooms were a good size, and the beds were comfortable and could have been split into twins to accommodate a bigger party quite easily. There were loads of closet space, which we didn't need, and the kitchen/lounge space was comfortable and relaxed. TV channels were limited, but once we logged into Netflix and iPlayer, that was sorted too. The kitchen was well stocked with all the bits you need to cook with ( couldn't find a spatula though, had to get creative). Good assortment of condiments and coffee/tea to get you started. Nice big fridge/freezer and the cooked was easy to use ( although I set the smoke alarm off twice - perhaps that fan isn't quite up to the task or I'm just not used to frying haggis!). Super comfortable and relaxing stay. Best of the whole trip!

There wasn't really much space in the bathroom and no fixed mirror to speak of, just a mirrored tile on the window ledge, which is an accident waiting to happen. Also, the glass coffee table in the lounge made me nervous and was a bit far away from the seating to be useful. I had to move it to one side or the other, depending on which couch I was at. That might want a rethink. Otherwise, chuffed to bits and would certainly stay again and recommend!
