Loved the outside terraced space! Always like accommodations where I can get fresh air, not sealed windows and AC. This place is a gem; fresh sea air with louvered windows for secure night comfort. (AC worked fine too)

No dishwasher or sink; just a plastic dish we filled over the bathroom basin!! Also the shower over bath and folding screen not a common experience and a bit hazardous.

Location was great and easy walk to everything. Amazing comfy bed, lovely linen and great pillows. Best sleep ever. Host so accommodating and let us arrive early. Coffee machine and tons of provisions.

The apartment was very comfortable and perfect location for our needs.

The location was fantastic, the room was spacious with a comfy king sized bed, well equipped and clean with little quality touches like lovely smelling body wash, soft towels, variety of treats and tea, etc that just made the stay all the more special. The owner was so kind, thoughtful and quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. She even let us know when the accommodation was ready early and left a gift for our anniversary. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on our trip and can't wait to come back again.

The position is perfect

It turns out the unit is part of the Sebel hotel in kiama. The owner clearly knew about the construction of a deck during the whole time i was going to be there. The workers arrived at 6.30 and the electric saws and drilling started at 7am every morning. I couldn't come back to the room to read during the day because of the noise and I couldn't sit on the balcony for that reason too. The balcony was a big reason why I booked that room. The vertical blinds are clearly just for privacy and not light blackout. They sit a full hands length back from the sliding doors and do not stretch from wall to wall to compensate for that. The bright garden lighting shines in all night and then the sun rises ar 5.40am. Not much sleeping done and with the noise early in the morning. When I complained to Gaye about the noise, she said it was out of her control. As an owner of the unit she knew about the construction when we rented the unit to me. There's a fabulous coffee shop downstairs, she didn't even say have a coffee on me. Clearly couldn't care even though she had to know she'd get a rating like this. I came home more exhausted than when I arrived in kiama.
