St Tropez Beachside Luxe

The property was fine. Not Luxe. Clean fresh linen

The whole booking process and the back and forth needing extra details re credit card and license and then more credit card information… was annoying and not prompt. I didn’t receive an email with instructions as per a text message said I would. I had 6 emails between booking.com and then holiday rental specialists in 6hours from when I booked to when we checked in. We arrived at the property looking for somewhere to enter the gate code to drive in. Couldn’t find that. So walked in the walkway gate. Walked along the property and walked in the open foyer door… walked up the stairs, found a locked box and apartment 6. Tried the code got some keys. 4 keys that weren’t labelled- writing had worn off. Tried every key and eventually got in. Went back down to try and solve the access to the car park, rechecking for emails but nothing. There was zero information provided about how to access the property only 2 different codes, a gate code and lockbox code. Contacted the number - they sent another email that had some details, but no map of how to access anything - it’s now dark wandering around an apartment block with no idea. The 4 keys drove us mad each time we had to enter the building and apartment having to try each one. No lighting at the foyer. Ended up just parking on the street for the 2 nights as it was the weekend. Annoying there was no milk to go with the tea and coffee provided. The tv in the main bedroom was a dinosaur, only app was Stan - not possible to mirror an iPhone or download apps, no free to air tv in the bedroom. I had to connect the tv to the wifi with the dirty remote- looks like it’s never been cleaned. I literally spent more time trying to solve the tv than watching it. There was sand on the floor throughout the apartment. The negatives definitely outweighed the lovely view.

The size and location were excellent. Easy access. Beach, cafes and restaurants all close by.

The makings on the ground for the car spot need to be repainted, it was hard to read which spot was for unit 6.

Wifi disappointing Cleanliness, glasses not washed but put away, sand under rugs and dirty childs undies, Trundel bed very uncomfortable

The keys was a nightmare at first , so many keys with no labels for which door , but only two was needed for the two doors . But we had 3 people and was only given one set keys .. screen door kept coming off runners , called to get someone to fix but no one came .

Absolutely loved this accommodation. The location was great, walking distance to shops, restaurants and coastal walks. The place felt very homely and had everything we needed for our stay. I will definitely be booking again for another mini break in the future.

The location was perfect for my requirements. Beach 100mtrs away. Coffee shop next door and seafood restaurant as well. Great park on the right and a beautiful beachside walk all the way around. The noise of the ocean at night was especially great.

The bathroom had no extraction fan.
