Maui Tranquility II

Very well equipped, even down to esky & beach chairs. Only 5-8 minute walk to a number of places to eat or grab a drink. Lots of nice little touches that made it feel very homely. Communal laundry which requires an app to use but easy to sort this out. We were a bit apprehensive when we first pulled up as the complex appears a bit dated but turned out to be a very nice complex and area. Didn’t use the pool area but looked nice with a barbecue area which we didn’t use either. Groceries available close by.

In terms of location, close to everything in Kihei and excellent beach close by. Internally, the apartment was roomy and lacked for nothing, a well-equipped kitchen and extra-wide king size double bed. Also, a BBQ and swimming pool in the complex, plus app-operated shared laundry facilities. We stayed three nights, and the hosts had furnished the apartment so well, it felt just like home.

Nothing to signal, would certainly stay again.

The apartment was immaculate, well equip with everything you could need, and the bed was very comfortable! the location is great and is walking distance to restaurants and several beaches!

We have no complaints! everything was perfect and it was a magical stay!

this is one comfortable apartment. we are close to the beach and lots of eating and stores. I cooked breakfast here every morning and had all I needed, including good coffee. good air conditioners satisfied this travelers from northern climes. we were completely satisfied.

not really anything to dislike.

The unit was cutely decorated with nice furniture and tasteful beachy art - such a nice touch! The patio was so wonderful and screened from the road by vegetation. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking tools, coffee ingredients, etc. The location was also wonderful! We could walk to many restaurants and parks in Kihei but still felt “off the main drag” and away from the crowds at the resorts. This place absolutely exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend!

Our only problem that is likely totally out of the host’s control is that the units seem to have very thin walls, and the window slats above the bed open up right onto the breezeway- so we had one neighbor that stayed up late playing music that kept us awake, and every door slam in the breezeway was audible in the bedroom. I’m a light sleeper though- others might not notice or mind!

Great location and a great value. The owners thought of everything for the unit. Free parking and lots of little extras like coffee and snorkels. it felt like a beach unit because if how it was decorated. The king size bed was comfortable too. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. An easy 20 minute drive to the best beaches. I would recommend and stay again. If this property is available, definitely book it.

The only thing I would tell other travelers is that the birds start chirping at 6:30am and it’s very clear inside the unit. But that didn’t bother us too much bc of our sleep schedule and was nice to wake up to. But if you like to sleep in and you are a light sleeper; if the birds are there you will know it.
