Not a single new South African plug socket IEC60906-1 available that I could find, despite the fact that this country started switching to the new standard in 1992. All the sockets are the old type SANS 164-1 from 1931.

We had a lovely stay at 35 on Fairview. Both cottages were spotless and Cathy accommodated us with an earlier check in, which we really appreciated. There were nice little personal touches, like some fresh milk and lovely hand-wash. We were so happy to find a safe, well located property for our trips to Durban. We will definitely be back.
