Hiša Orel (Orel House)

The apartment was very nice, with a terrace overlooking the vineyards. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sauna. There is also a pool, but we visited in May, so the weather was not warm enough to try it out. Great breakfast served by the owner. We felt like at home, she made sure we had everything we needed. She also showed us the vine cellar and the vineyard. Overall a great experience. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The sauna and jacuzzi were brilliant! We cycled in the neighborhood the entire week and enjoyed every minute of it. There are a few restaurants in the area and Sezana is but 5mins drive to do bigger shopping. From there, it's just across the hill to Italy.

Kitchen a bit smaller but sufficient and is well equipped.

Loved the location, quiet countryside in Karst region. House is a renovated old country house with plenty of space, pool in the jard and jacuzi on the terrase. Perfect for stays with friends or family.

Our stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming. Although we arrived quite late, she greeted us with great enthusiasm and even offered us each a glass of “goodnight wine,” Throughout our stay, she provided professional and helpful recommendations on nearby attractions and dining options, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The sauna was fantastic, and the location was perfect. The surrounding area is beautiful, with plenty of activities nearby. It’s also very close to Italy—just about a 15-minute drive—and we took the opportunity to cross the border and enjoy some pizza there. The facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean. Our room was very spacious, making it perfect for the two of us.

The only minor downside was that the heating at night wasn’t as efficient as we would have liked, but it didn’t affect our overall comfort.

The hostess is very friendly. Sauna and the outdoor aeria are very nice. Kitchen is fully furnished. Beds are comfortable.

Kitchen was small

Nice that there was air conditioning in the main living area and in the bedroom as well. The owners happened to be visiting and they were very nice. The swimming pool felt good on a hot day.

The manager was not there when we arrived, the owner did not know which apartment we were in and had to look for the keys. There was no soap or other toiletries in the apartment and not enough toilet paper. Luckily I found the storage cupboard and took more toilet paper. There was NO Coffee! A major mistake. My friends had to walk to the local Cafe every morning just to get a cup of coffee.

The property was not only charming and beautiful on the outside, but we'll maintained and clean on the inside. Loved the charming country decor! Children had a great time in the pool and it was a good location for all the activities we wanted to do: visit beach in Croatia and visit Ljubljana.

Just suggestions: to confirm guests received check in instructions before the day of check in, maybe some bug repellant in the unit and some extra toilet paper.

The host was very lovely, the house was great, air conditioned rooms, the hot tub was perfect. Nice and quiet location with beautiful views, comfortable beds, short drive to shops, as well as Trieste and Croatia

Lovley estate in a great location. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, we very much enjoiyed thr terrace with the whirlpool and the sauna. The owners are very friendly. All in all a great stay.
