Lagos Marina Lakeview Retreat #1906

Location, good bathrooms. Garage parking good. Tiago the agent really approachable and helpful.

Sub-standard main bed v uncomfortable, shutters on windows broken and swing freely in wind (annoying), window guard rail on twin room loose and fell off (stuck on with adhesive not screwed), stand lamp base broken and has to lean on wall for support, outside furniture both chairs broken and table tatty, shower hoses no wall bracket, both toilet flushes keep running wasting water, hot water far too hot (about 70-80°) and not control to reduce to safe temperature, bits of laminate floor trim loose and sticking up (injury risk). Net curtains in living roof discoloured and tatty. And for summmer there is no air conditioning or fans provided (thats standard for similar holiday lets Algarve) -wouldnt bother me but would most people. The window shutter issue means bedrooms in darkness or put up with shutters swinging in almost constant wind - just needs the keep brackets (plastic) replacing. I think of all above the worst is the outside furniture is a big downer on the stay AND its 4px with only 2 (broken) chairs. Safety issue - the kitchen fire blanket is in a drawer so useless - needs to be on a bracket. For the rental level would expect much better quality. Lots of flaws in building design including all the steel doors on the stair that bang shut unnecessarily, tiny kitchen with oversized lobby to bedrooms /bathroom - I could go on

Location is great.

This apartment is very dated. Beds were uncomfortable and small. Hand shower only. We have stayed in far better in Lagos for the same cost.

Good sized apartment in great location next to the Marina with plenty of free parking. Nice morning sun on balcony. Had all appliances needed.

Would be nice to have sun loungers on balcony but it did have deck chairs.

The apartment is in a beautiful location, which is why we chose it. It’s very quiet with a lovely view. The supermarket is very handy and eating places are easy to get to .

Very surprised that as the apartment is for four people. There was only one mug and two small cups in the cupboard. Had to go out and buy two mugs. Only 2 chairs on the balcony, we had to take a chair from the dining table set outside as there was three of us, this furniture was really outdoor furniture as well. There was no plug in the bath, obviously to stop you using it. The television is only available in Portuguese. There was only one pillow on the single beds. There was no welcoming pack with any local information or contact numbers.
