It is a pristine property, which is very clearly cared for by it’s owners. It is spacious and everything is high quality and well thought out. It is very well located being just around the corner from Lagos Marina.

Finally, an apartment that is actually used by the homeowner! Casa Marques, the hosts’ vacation home, has all of the amenities you would expect to find in someone’s home. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal - cooking oil, spices, loads of pots and pans, cooking utensils, multiple cutting boards, a complete set of (sharp) knives, serving dishes, storage containers, oven, toaster, microwave, espresso machine and more! Everything is clean and in like-new condition. The bathroom is well stocked with toiletries - toilet paper, extra tooth brushes, cotton swabs, etc. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed and blackout curtains for the window/slider. The living/dining room has ample, comfortable seating and a large television for those nights when you want to relax at home. Both the living room and bedroom have air conditioning. Our favorite place however was the balcony. We ate all of our meals out there. The apartment complex has a pool which we used several times during our stay. The water was freezing! It’s a 10 minute walk to a large grocery store, the train station, marina and restaurants. Jose, our host, was very communicative. He responded to messages almost immediately. We enjoyed meeting Sandra, our local contact person. She gave us our keys and showed us around the apartment and garage area. We were delighted to find a goodie bag of snacks, a bottle of wine and a beach bag! I highly recommend Casa Marques, especially if you are full time travelers (like we are) and are looking for an apartment that feels, and functions, like a real home. I can’t imagine visiting Lagos and staying anywhere else.

The location is a bit far from Old Town. It’s certainly within walking distance, but it’s not a trip we wanted to make more than once a day. If we spent the day in Old Town, then we ate dinner at home or at a restaurant in the marina. Not a deterrent to staying here.

Lovely well equipped apartment. Thank you for the wine and water. It was a nice surprise.

It would be lovely to have a small supply of tea bags, coffee and some milk as I arrived a bit later.

Use of two bikes. We cycled to Meia Pria. Lagos is a lovely town, beaches, water sports cobbled streets, restaurants, bars, marina. Something for everyone. We were particularly struck by how clean the town was.

Coffee machine was a bit to complicated for us!! A simple cafetiere would have suited us better.

Highly recommend this apartment for someone who travels to Lagos. The landlord is super helpful and kind. The location is perfect to be in town for everything. The apartment is fully equipped with all the essentials for a travel.
