Staff is friendly but not the owner

Room is dusty, there are 3 centepede went out from the bathroom while my kids are taking a shower. My husband managed to kill the 1st one, so we thought ok guess its normals as the room is quite old. But the other 2 went out of the room and we cant find it so I decided not to stay any longer as they are not just small centepede. My kids are scared and wouldn't want sleep on that room. I didnt inform the front desk as I contacted the owmer right away to ask if we can be transferred yet she told me that I messed up her room when in fact what we did is just took a shower. I might've forgot ny daughter's diaper unintentionally but that's what she throw at us that I messed it up so she cant tranfer us anymore. Wasted money since we dont want to stay on that room at all! Very poor communication from the owner. Not recommending this place EVER! Ive been using booking.com for so long but this is the first time I ever experienced thi. Cleanliness should be their first priority.

The location is nearby Laoag international airport which we really wanted. WIFI is good. Maybe we can appreciate it if we check-in at early afternoon. We arrived at around 9:00 PM and Check-out at 4 am so basically we just freshen up a little nap then we leave.

The place at night is kind of creepy like I cannot sleep alone or even if we are just a couple. Lights I guess must need to put more, especially in the parking area. The door in the bathroom of room number 1 need to fix. No complimentary coffee or something. Gate in the entrance is dark and no security.

Quiet, outside area quite nice

No kitchen as promised in the description, only a kettle, some glasses and plates and free water. No fridge or stove! We were told that the 'standard room' that was shown in the photo when I booked would be more expensive than the much smaller room we got. Aircon did work well but was quite noisy.

I stayed a total of 3 weeks in Laoag and frequently switched between the budget places. In this price range, I decidedly liked Riton Apartelle best. It's secluded enough for some quiet time (which is rare in Laoag), but not too secluded. It only took a few minutes on foot to good restaurants (near Northwestern Uni) and a co-working spot (with an outstanding cafe next to it). Price/Value is excellent imo.

A lot of the amenities promised on the site (e.g. private kitchen or 50 sqm) are rubbish: there's a courtyard with a common area & kitchen through which you have access to any of the 7 rooms you booked.
