Appartementen Casa del Lago

Fantastic stay with idyllic views over the green countryside. Patio was perfect and well protected from the wind, the large windows allowed great sunlight while the bedroom stayed dark. The kitchen was well equipped for eating in but good restaurants are available nearby. Hosts were available at all times and very patient with a couple issues that we had. An excellent experience. Bikes available for a very fair price which allowed easy access to Keukenhof.

Be aware that it is very windy and when the wind blows a certain direction the planes from Schiphol are fairly common.

Die Lage des Appartment war idyllisch mit sehr schönem Bild auf Wasser, Wiesen und Felder. Aber, aufgrund der sehr schlechten Geräuschdämmung des Gebäudes, waren, selbst bei geschlossenen Türen und Fenstern, die Flugzeuge im Landeanflug und beim Starten, der Bahnverkehr sowie die Autobahn in ca. 1km Entfernung für uns störend laut zu hören.

The apartment was very clean, the beds were very comfortable.

I am 6’0” and the shower under the stairs (slanted ceiling) made it a little difficult to use. Having to make beds and put duvet covers on with clean linens was a bit disappointing. This should be done before guests arrive. The stairs are steep and this should be highlighted in the apartment overview. (Maybe I missed it)

Supervriendelijke ontvangst.

Matrassen hadden beste tijd wel gehad. Geluid van landende vliegtuigen welk erg intens.

Location was overlooking the canal. The apartment had a great little kitchen plus use of a bigger communal kitchen. Was only about 10mins drive from Keukenhof.

The walls were very thin and we could hear the people in the other apartments either side of us.
