Posizione strepitosa perche' vicinissima a Piazza Napoleone dove c'era il Lucca Summer Festival per il quale eravamo venuti. L'appartamento e' carino (anche se i mobili della camera mi ricordano quelli di mia nonna...) ma ha una scala interna per andare dal soggiorno alla camera da letto che e' angusta. La proprietaria e' stata gentilissima con noi e anche l;a persona che e' venuta ad aprirci casa.

Poiche' l'appartamento e' al terzo piano di uno stabile senza ascensore e ha pure la scala interna molto stretta, non consiglio l'appartamento a persone con qualche problema motorio. Lo stabile in cui l'appartamento e' collocato non e' proprio in forma smagliante.

Excellent central location. A lot of space. Well equipped

During intense summer heat the mobile aircondirtioning unit can’t quite keep up. Moreover it only covers the bedroom. So it gets very hot in the apartment

Brilliant location right in the centre of Lucca so easy to get to from the train station and to see all sights. Good air conditioning and comfy and clean accommodation. Host was there to meet us on arrival.

This is our second visit to La Rondine. The 3rd floor apartment (no lift) is very large with a lot of amenities (washer, TV, kitchen spices/coffee, AC/heater. It is in a fantastic location with a view from the window of Piazza San Michele to the left and Piazza Napoleone to the right. Our favorite gelato spot is right outside! La Rondine is within walking distance of all shopping/dining/walking on Mura di Lucca (Lucca's wall). There is a Pam's and Conad's (small markets) within 5 min walking distance. We'll be back next year!

Arrange and explain where stairs lights are when going down the stairs.

Good location, central to city. Large apartment for Italy. Access to washing machine and drying rack.

Stairs narrow and steep. Need to be fit to carry bags up. Spiral stairs to bedroom also difficult. Needs a few more items in kitchen, sharp knife, dish drying towels, would have been helpful.
