The Best Amphiteatre

We loved this place. The quirky interior, the lovely hammock and the amazing view. Just chilling out in the chair/ hammock with the window open, listening to the comings and goings below, was wonderful.

Not a criticism, but a couple of bottles of water in the fridge would have been lovely, especially after taking the stairs.

A good size apartment. Comfortable bed.

Lighting in stairwell was very poor. Signage poor to find apartment once in the building.

Fantastic view to sit and watch the Plaza del Anfiteatro. Apartment was furnished in a nice style and was very cosy.

The stairs, too difficult with luggage, air conditioner not working efficiently, and noise at night

Difficult to get yourself with big suitcases up the stairs and in to the appartement, but a small price to pay

The location and the view over Lucca's most famous square is just superb. Beautiful high ceilings with quaint decor. Very comfortable. Surprised by how quiet it was given its location - but then we were there during the middle of the week. Aircon kept the apartment fairly cool. Bathroom clean and very functional.

Furniture was a bit outdated - but some of it just added character.

Could do with a few more blinds - very light at this time if year
