Palazzo Colombini Apartment

The apartment was huge (as in proper huge!) and in a perfect location in the historic center. It was great to have a spacious and fully-equipped kitchen, and the host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

The only issue is the noice from outside. The windows doesn't keep any noice out of the apartment, so garbage trucks and cafés setting up tables and chairs outside in the narrow lanes in the morning will definitely wake you up early.

The apartment does not have air conditioning. In the peak of summer it gets warm. It was OK to sleep with fans.

Well equipped. Location within Lucca was excellent.

Just a small criticism - newer towels in the bathroom would be nice.

Lovely apartament in great location. 2-3 minutes walking to Piazza Puccini and San Michele in Foro church, 1 minute to the city walls park. Fantastic pasticcieria opposite the apartment with delicious cappucino. Apartment is very spacious with comfortable beds, nice bathroom and big kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare your meal. Easy check in, great communication with the owner. Apartment is located on the 1st floor. The central location of the apartment means that you could hear the street noise but it wasn’t a big problem for us.

+ Big Flat, with well working modern bathroom and kitchen. + Convenient location both for strolling in the city and accessing the car parked outside the fortifications. + Some good restaurants literally less than a minute away.

- The convertible mattress in the Living room was not comfortable, even for kids it was too hard. - No air conditioning made the situation with outside temperatures of 35 to 38°C quite challenging even with the provided ventilators, but to be fair we were not expecting such warm weather.
