"Great central location at fair price although noisy at night"

Spacious bedroom/eating area and lovely views from the window. Owner easily contactable and very helpful. Allowed an early check in which I really appreciated.

Lack of plug points. Toaster not working. Poor lighting in main area (central light) not working. Wash basin unlit. Very noisy at night from 2 nearby restaurants in the street outside - still partying at 3am! Double glazed so nothing to be done and obviously very busy time of year.

"Really wanted to like it but…"

Host Massimiliano is wonderful, he provided excellent directions on how to access the suite as well as dining recommendations. Great location, close to everything you want to see and do in Lucca. Lots of dining options all around. Comfortable bed. Easy walking distance to the train station.

The bathroom is exceptionally cramped. The shower is incredibly small and very difficult to use. You can barely turn around in it without hitting the faucet or shower doors. The bathroom sink is also in an awkward position, so you have to squeeze yourself between a wall and the shower door to use it. The place feels and smells damp, almost like it has mould issues which didn’t make me feel very comfortable. The entrance to the building and the suite isn’t very inviting or pleasant.

"Excellent location and economical place."

Location was so good. It is close to Lucca railway station and city center. Also it is quite convenient to come to Pisa and pistoia by train. We could go to a lot of restaurants, shops, markets, and tourists' attractions on foot. Moreover, it was so economical.

The house and facilities are old.

"Location was great"

We had a great time at Suite Sofia. Close to train station. Ideally located in the old part of town. Very quiet and comfortable bed, very clean. Our host kept in touch about all things to make our stay memorable. Great shower.

Bathroom cramped and hot water runs out so only very quick showers.
