GIALLOMANGO Apt in Lucca

The apartment is stylish. The apartment is a 30 min walk from the train station and the city centre but does have a regular bus service outside. There is a large supermarket 12 mins from the apartment.

What lets this apartments down is the cleanliness!!There was food still on cutlery. The bathroom sink doesn’t drain because there is so much gunge stuck in the drain, chewing gum on the top of the toilet brush, hair in drawers and the shower mouldy and slimy, black mould on the hose. I work as a housekeeper for apartments, this is not clean and really ruined our stay. The facilities say there is a coffee machine but there isn’t. The reviews give this a superb rating, not sure why. Would be nice to give guests some coffee or water for their arrival, we had to walk to the supermarket the next day. No air-con, just a fan, we didn’t notice this when booking and it was 37 degrees, we struggled.

There were some spots of mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and we didn't like the beds (very squashy) - but some people may like it

Beautiful, well presented apartment, very stylish and so well equipped too. Fantastic location for a walk in to Lucca. Nice location too! Lovely hosts, always quick to reply too! Fantastic thanks ! Didn’t have a kettle, which I think is defo. ☺️
