Beautiful location in a quiet village. Fantastic views. Off road parking. Spacious. Prompt communication from owners to answer any questions. Helpful information including a video about entering property. Felt safe and secure. Enjoyed a wonderful tour of the fortress and good food at a nearby restaurant which can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Close to Lucca which has ample free parking; good supermarkets within 10 minute drive. 30 minute drive from Pisa airport. Children under 14 do not need to pay tourist tax in Lucca. Washing machine was welcome for our family of five.

Only one fan in property. Weather was particularly hot and it was very uncomfortable overnight despite opening windows and trying to create a through-draught. Even one more fan would have meant both bedrooms could be a little more comfortable. Some cutlery and crockery needed to be washed before using it.

Plenty of room for a family of 5 and very quiet. Would definitely go back.

Very nice and big appartment, wery wel equipped. A balcony, nice view, nice place and quiet. Comfortable bed and free parking.

Maintenance of the facilities needed to be looked at- eg; - a few things in the bathroom was loose, Needed a toaster and a microwave

The beds were clean and comfortable. The view was lovely, and the courtyard was lovely.

It was very strange that there was no kettle...gas or electric..only 4 teacups, and all the kitchen things we used had to be washed before using.

This was a great place to stay, situated in a small village just outside Lucca. Roomy and nicely furnished. We had the top floor apartment which had access to two balconies.Excellent value, lots of traditional style. A microwave and an electric kettle would have made it perfect.

Zero tolerance on the part of the host to cancel the booking and refund a partial amount. Due to a transport strike, the accommodation could not be reached by boat on the booking date, the host did not accept the circumstances and withheld the full booking amount including the final cleaning fee. Anti-social and customer-unfriendly, no prompt response to inquiries. Better look for another accommodation. 0 % recommendation!

The cleanliness of the appartement and the cozy Little village where the appartement is located. And not to forget the nice old lady living downstairs.

Maybe a kettle for making tea :)

Very quiet, PARKING, sweet decor ! Reminded us of our grandparents homes!

No air conditioning although there was one fan.
