Cozy apartment with a view on the city walls

Lovely spacious apartment apartment that was very clean! TV worked great, kitchen had everything you needed and the bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean also with a lovey, spacious shower- note that the ceiling is low but I’m 5’11 and I was still okay I think the cut off would be 6’1 or ‘2. Nice view from the top floor and you can see the car from the apartment.

Host is not very responsive, would message me at 7 in the morning and half 11 at night. However she then continued to tell us to take our own bins out and tried to kick up a fuss when we checked out because we didn’t. Something that was lacking was mosquito nets, if you want to open the windows in the evening you need to be prepared to be a mozzy assassin. The host says that air conditioning is provided but then there’s a sign in the apartment asking you not to use or to only use it on 27 degrees😂 but then you can’t open a window because of mosquitos when it’s 30 degrees out side. Parking was expensive inside the walls it’s roughly £20 for a day however it does feel safe and as I said you can see the car from the apartment.

The apartment and its location are impeccable. We were met by Stefania who gave us a warm welcome. Easy access to all areas of the historical centre of Lucca, and near to the railway and bus stations. Everything that we wanted from an apartment was provided: it is spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed.

Convenient and central. Host was very helpful on providing me with some non usual requests and arranged for a physio visit I needed when in Lucca

Floor level (4 ) but give the apartment standard overall this was not a deal breaker

A lovely apartment in a great location in Lucca, super spacious, with all the necessary amenities. The host was very friendly on arrival and she gave us great recommendations for places to eat and go out. Super recommended.

This flat was fantastic with everything we needed. Located within the walls of Lucca and very close to the train station (a 5 min walk). The lounge area was lovely and it was nice to have such a lovely space to relax in. The bed was big and comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped although we did not really use it that much, just for making a quick breakfast. Stefania was a great host. We had good communication before we arrived and she met us at the flat and gave us a quick talk through of things. We will happily return and stay here again.

The only negative for me (and it's very small) is that there was no cafetière to make fresh coffee in the morning. There is a Nespresso machine but we couldn't find capsules in the supermarket so got fresh coffee which I ended up making in a saucepan. A cafetière would be good.

Lovely and comfortable light-filled apartment with beautiful views. Conveniently located, it is close to the walls and an easy walk or ride to anywhere in Lucca. The apartment has everything you could need for your stay. Stefania is a wonderful host and really made my stay enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!
