Casa Buganvilla

It was clean, tasteful decor, quiet and pretty. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked an apartment with a double bed and a single bed as we are mother and teenage son. However, there was only a double bed, so I had to put bedding on the floor to sleep on. As we arrived late at night, it was too late to be trying to find another apartment as my son needed to rest.

The accommodation was lovely and good value for money, host was easy to contact and gave clear instructions on how to collect keys and enter property.

There were good self catering facilities but we did not use them as we could not find any shops close by and within reasonable walking distance. The main road on which we walked from the airport was further than we thought and the road was particularly busy and unsafe for pedestrians as there was no footpath. It would have been good to know if there was an alternative safe way to walk from the airport and if any shops were closer than back at the airport.

Very close to the airport, sizeable rooms which are very clean and comfortable! The host was very communicative and made sure we were checked in safely upon arrival. There is also a really handy booklet of recommendations in each room which really helped with planning where to go on our trip.

Initially booked on basis of proximity to Kefalonia Airport and previous great reviews. And yes the super clean and well modernised studio more than served it purpose . I have no hesitation in recommending Buganvilla and would like to compliment the top rate communication from the owner ... Thanks

For a one night stay, this property is perfect. Really clean, comfortable, excellently located near the airport without feeling like you’re staying near to an airport. We walked from the airport (15min) after an evening flight. The house is easy to find, super clear instructions given and a great host communication. Excellent value for money. Lovely little taverna (Avra) within 4-5min walk away. Would happily recommend.

An extra pillow would have been ideal.

Had an absolutely lovely stay here! The room was incredibly clean and cleaned every morning by the lovely cleaner. Bed was so comfy and the air con was definitely needed. Also there’s an adorable cat came onto our balcony every morning. Lastly, not forgetting Dimitris the owner who is so fast with replies and recommendations! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about visiting Kefalonia

You definitely need a car to get around! Bit far away to walk but 5-10 mins in car
