I think the value for the space you get is good. Modern nice decor.

Check in instructions could have been clearer, we did not realize you had to pass through a business store front to get to the flat. Also, there are a lot of steep stairs to get to the different areas of the apartment. I don't remember if this was in the initial photos, but it was a surprise to us. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone older or less physically able. There were a lot of mosquitos in the apartment when we arrived as the windows were slightly open. The sound of the bugs and getting bit made sleeping challenging.

The host was very hospitable, the rooms were clean and the experience couldn’t have been better.

Beautifully decorated apartment with everything one would need for their stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, pots and pans as well as basic cooking essentials such as oil, salt and seasonings. The hosts are helpful and always available to answer any questions. Parking is available on the street free of charge. The apartment is a 20min from Dinant.

The property is located in a quiet one way street in a suburb of Namur, only 30 minutes walk, 5 minutes drive, from the town centre. You can see the citadelle from the property. There are two comfortable double bedrooms on separate floors, one overlooking the garden at the back of the property and the other facing the citadelle at the front. The furnishing in the property is all very modern and well designed. The kitchen is well equipped for 4 people with hob, oven, microwave and large fridge, but no freezing compartment.

The most awkward thing was obtaining the keys. The day before arrival I asked how we would obtain these but received no response. On Booking.com I saw that I had said 3-4pm when I booked 6 months before. We were coming from Germany so the arrival time was always going to be uncertain and we also wanted to visit Dinant, which ended up being only 30 minutes. The host also wanted cash, but as we were on our way home, we no longer had enough, he then wanted a bank transfer. This took me about an hour to organise, delaying or going out in Namur. The only other negatives were the lack of freezer, the TV lacked normal channels though had Netflix, and though it was not an issue for us, people with mobility issues will need to be aware of the many steep steps to negotiate.
