Apartment is just comfortable and well located, all the conditions needed to spend a good time without a need on great efforts to get or do anything outside the area, little distant from from the river nearby to the supermarket and gas station and restaurants, all a walking distance. Peaceful area and great sleep! A must stay

rigid behaviour from the hosts, to much sense of control and not adjustable even when everything about my stay i worked to be spot on , one slide on rulings , it will be enough for criticism rather than appreciation.

The whole process was easy and we felt welcomed. The hosts provided us with all the information we needed to have a nice stay. The added touch of local beers in the fridge was a nice surprise!

Located 2.5-3 km from the Center, one can get there either by bus or by car/bike etc. Gas station with 24/7 h shop and bakery in the immediate vicinity, as well as the river, where you can take lovely walks. Studio very clean, in renovated old building and did not notice any detail that was missing. On the contrary. Candles, Netflix and a huge bathtube for those who prefere to spend the evenings at "home" in a romantic atmosphere. A separate shower increased the speed of leaving the studio earlier when needed. Easy to find a parking lot on the street (maybe due to holiday month-august). A small "survival" kit provided by the owners (in case you forgot toothbrush, shaving articles or loading device for your phone etc) we appreciate to have, even if we did not use them. Furthermore, a small "welcome" kit we found in the fridge. A lot of information about Namur, Wallonia, things to do etc are also provided, together with a huge binder containing house rules and recommenations in 4 languages. The city of Namur is a good starting point of visiting Wallonia.

The studio is on 2nd (last) floor of an old building. At 27 degr C outside temperature it was terrible hot inside the studio. There is a fan provided by the owners that is very noisy and has some efect after 3-4 hours of working. There are 3 smaller windows in the studio one can open, but then the traffic noise (especially during the night) might not let you fall asleep. More air you could get by opening the door of the studio and let the air from the staircase enter the room . Maybe a mobile A/C could provide more comfort than a fan. However, this situation might be disturbing just few weeks in summertime. The staircase is quite narrow and steep. Some people might have issues with carrying a 20 kg piece of luggage up to the second floor. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and left on a Tuesday morning. On Monday, at 8 a.m, some workers appeared to start (or continue) renovation on a future airbnb studio on the groundfloor, speaking loudly and using all kind of electrical tools. When leaving the building only we noticed an A4 announcement close to the door of the future studio. It has not been brought to our attention by the owners in any way. We would not have canceled the reservation due to this, but would have changed the sightseeing schedule for Monday and Tuesday so that we would still benefit of our resting hours of our short holiday. Of course this situation won't last more than few weeks, so that other tourists won't be disturbed. Most probably in autumn/spring the normal temperatures in the studio and the "chantier" won't diminish the evaluation of the studio, which would have reached a 9 (instead of 8).

Marc and Patricia were great hosts, very friendly flexible as our check-in time changed several times and also flexible about the checkout. The appartment has a very nice bathroom and bathtub and is located close to the river. Bakeries and a gas station to grab food are just closeby. Perfect for a short stay for couples. Very recommendable! We were by bike so it was easy to reach the accomodation, but those who travel without car or bike should maybe check the buses beforehand. Appartment is maybe not perfect for cooking as the kitchen facility is small, so ideal for a stay where you plan to eat outside.
