Quiet location, easy to settle into. Short walk to an excellent grocery store. Kitchen had all the basic cooking utensils to make a home dinner. Laundry available for an extra charge.

If you’re going to tourist sites it is one stop before the main Nikko station so it requires extra commute however it’s a small station that’s easy to navigate.

The host was very accommodating, the space was very clean and organized, I loved sleeping on the tatami mats.

For most of the tourist attractions like Kegon Falls, you have to use a bus from Tobu Nikko station, which is a ~15 min taxi ride from the guest house
