Luxury apartment Duće with private pool

Pool & outdoor areas were exceptional as was the views! The inside of the property is beautiful too. Everything was provided too.

The curtains were very thin/ light so we were woken up early by the sun - black out curtains or similar would be much better.

The apartment was very clean with beautiful views from the balcony of the sea, Brać Island, Omis to the left and surrounding mountains. We only had a short stay In Duće so didn’t use the kitchen facilities much, just the dish washer for glasses and plates and heated up croissants in the oven. Having a dip pool for the kids was great, although they only used it once in our short stay. Location was great, a five minute walk if that to the beach and a 30 min walk to Omis. There’s a bus stop at the bottom of the road out of the apartment on both sides of the road. We didn’t use the buses we preferred to walk and take in the views. Taxis’s are easily available too, although you may have to walk down the very steep road to and from the apartment to get picked up.

The air conditioning wasn’t great only in the two bedrooms upstairs and in the main living area. The bedroom downstairs was like a Sauna the first night, even with the window/door open. It was working ok in one of the bedrooms upstairs but in the other very noisy and hardly cold. Fortunately the weather took a turn and cooled right down to 24C otherwise we wouldn’t have survived the week before at 36C! The towels provided were thin and rough. The beds were adequate for a couple of nights but not luxury. The road to and from the apartment is very, very steep and treacherous in wet/rain. There was 8 of us 5 adults and 3 children and we all slipped/fell at different times when the road was wet and we were wearing trainers too.

Beautiful villa. Near sandy beaches. Very clean too

It was quite far from split centre especially with traffic. But the drive was usually scenic so it wasnt bad!
