The restaurant down the road!

Owner was not overly friendly when compared to others we had met on the Otago Rail Trail. Facilities were OK and they had tried to make it work but the room was very small. We had an unexpected problem with getting an evening meal due to the local pub closed due covid. The option was a 2km ride in the dark to the next town but that was unadvisable. The owner could easily have offered to drive us but that was not forthcoming so we walked to a expensive restaurant (which turned out to be absolutely great).

I wasn’t to sure what time I would get ther but the owner was on hand when I got ther

Loved the beautiful room, bedding was extremely pretty. Being beginning of winter they had under cover for my Motorcycle could not believe that they even had outdoor connections the bikes to recharge
