It was 10-15 minutes by car to Otaru Station, so it wasn't inconvenient. If you're a traveler traveling with a car, I recommend it.

I'm not sure if it was only on the day I stayed or if the soundproofing of the accommodation was bad, but it was noisy. The parking space was small for inexperienced drivers in Japan.
