The cottage needs a bit of maintenance. The taps in the kitchen are not fitted properly. The TV does not seem to work. There is no toaster and we had to ask for a cork screw. There.is a mouse or rat infestation which keeps you up at night. But what was unbearable was the strong drain smell in the room that we could not get rid of. The description of the property also does not mention that it is a working farm with workers being collected and dropped off right in front of the cottage. The cottage seems to be an extension of an office and there are other cottages, (in very close proximity) on the property, which means there is not a lot of privacy. I guess it would be ok for a one night stay but not for longer. The info on Booking.com should be updated to refelct the correct information regarding the property.

KRThe cottage has eveything you need and is cleaned daily. It was near Vondeling wines, where I attended a wedding, and is only ten minutes drive from the shopping centre in Wellington. There is a lovely view of the mountains from the farm. It is quiet and it is safe. There is electric fencing around the property, and an electric gate.
The cold and hot in the shower and basin next to the shower has been incorrectly marked. However, I was able to figure this out. The hot tap in the kitchen is a bit loose, but still works well. A toaster would have been useful, but not essential.
ZAWe did not get much time to explore the property as we spent the night for a wedding. From what we did see everything looked lovely. Bed, linens and comfort was top notch.
The only advise I would give is to upgrade the TV and put it on a swivel for better view.
ZAWe booked the cottage for its location, The fireplace inside was so cute and if we had more time would have used it. The room was clean and very easy to navigate around.
We were granted an early check-in, however, unfortunately, when we arrived the room wasn't ready. Janet was fantastic in turning it around and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. The host was really great, and the accommodation was perfect.
ZAthe Agri-activities around the area were refreshing.
