Room looked very nice on the website

Tried calling the owners on numerous occasions two to three days before occupation to enquire about an early check-in. No response. Arrived at the accommodation to find it was deserted and there was no-one available to open up for us. Eventually got hold of owner who told me that she did not receive the booking confirmation from bookings.com and was out of town and could not come back to give us the keys. Owner arranged and paid for alternate accommodation, but it was not acceptable for my wife and so we left and drove back to Cape town at 2:00am.
