Appartamento Fontana

An apartment/big studio in a very convenient location in the limits of Parma and the nicer part of town. Very clean and comfortable with restaurants, gelaterias, supermarkets and very close to Tardini stadium. Overall, quite ok for a solo trip but I could see how it could not be convenient for everyone (see below)

There were only two things that could be improved, in my view, for this place - one easier than the other. I spent a bit over a week and the kitchen is quite functional and rather well equipped but lacking some basic stuff like olive oil, proper salt & pepper, etc. I went to the supermarket and bought what I needed but if people are going for a shorter period of time, it is not convenient to be buying condiments. Having some in the apartment would be welcome and a easy fix. The other point that was not the best was the shower. As others have mentioned, it is truly small... and I live in France so I have seen small showers. I think a first attempt to improve would be to -perhaps- change the 'door' to something that opens outward and, eventually, remodel the bathroom to make the shower a bit bigger. The space is there and the apartment would benefit a lot from it, and it may cost a bit, but the apartment is also not the cheapest one, so it just makes sense all in all. I'd still go back to this place if I came back to Parma for a stay of several nights.

Good location, spacious apartment, authentic neighborhood

Facilities need updating. Entry area dingy.

It was easy to park the car in the central lot and access the apartment. The space was unique, clean, and comfortable.

The apartment is very cute and tastefully furnished. It offers everything you need, especially the kitchen was well equipped and there were basics like spices and snacks. The city is in walking distance and there are many restaurants around. Our hosts were lovely and quick to respond, the whole family is very caring.

beautifully decorated apartment a short walk from the centre of Parma. It had all necessary tools and accessories for a few days break. Dishwasher, induction hob, a small hairdryer, iron, TV, etc. Even a selection of breakfast items.

The street can be a little noisy when people come to drop off bottles for recycling, it’s very quiet otherwise.
