Breathe River Retreat

We will definitely be back - most units are on the Vaal river - it is peaceful and very well kept. It has a beautiful garden & a lovely view. The decor is tastefully done. They have their own bath range and our unit smelled so good. This lodge was a great surprise and a very lucky find.

Honestly nothing!

Very tranquil place with a beautiful view of the river. Friendly staff that were there to assist. Will be coming back with the whole family soon.

An air conditioner would be great in the rooms the fan makes the air dry

I like everything abt the place,pool,Lapa and our unit. the place is very quite and clean.

Fantastic serene location; peaceful and maintained well with all amenities needed available on the lodge; location same as in images, quality comfortable bedding. Wonderful place to just recharge and relax.

The landscaping, tranquil location and beautiful views.

The shower pressure was super low, inconsistent and weak in our unit, it made it cold and unpleasant to shower. Our shower walls also weren’t clean so that wasn’t great. Also didn’t like the bathroom open plan, it made it uncomfortable to use the toilet.
