JOANNA SUNSET APTS Pomos

I recently had a wonderful stay at JOANNA SUNSET Apartments. Situated in a peaceful location, this place offers a truly tranquil experience. The owner was amiable, making me feel right at home. The nearby beaches were perfect for bathing and fishing, while the garden provided fresh and delicious fruits. The area itself is quiet and uncrowded, with excellent restaurants nearby. If you're seeking a serene getaway with warm hospitality and natural beauty, I highly recommend JOANNA SUNSET Apartments.

While there were rare instances of internet instability, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and affordably I resolved the situation using Cyprus's reliable 5G mobile internet services. This minor hiccup in no way diminished the overwhelmingly positive experience I had.

House is very nice and clean. Owner is very friendly and nice to chat with. He gave us a few suggestions for sightseeing and showed us his neighbor's donkey. The garden has a lot of fruits but at the season we arrived at there were only 2 growing.

Very spacious and great views of sea. Owner very pleasant and extremely helpful in fixing a things that needed addressing when we arrived, including replacement of faulty hob. Apartment was very quiet and relaxing, apart from neighbouring donkey and dog who liked to greet any approaching visitors. Plenty of crockery and cutlery and adequate cooking utensils. Very comfy sofas. Plenty of parking space in front of apartment building.

Hot water unreliable - if all flats occupied then hot water soon ran out. wifi signal very weak and also unreliable as it seemed to drop off regularly. TV only picks up Greek Stations. One regularly showed English language programmes with Greek subtitles but sound quality poor so difficult to understand. There was no microwave which would have been handy. Insufficient coat hangers and hanging space as wardrobe and drawers in one bedroom full of owner’s clothes. It almost seemed as though renting out the apartment was a spur of the moment idea - old furniture and need for a bit of TLC to improve the standards. There were no mattress covers and pillows seemed a bit old. Only 1 toilet roll supplied for each flat for a week’s stay and no spare bin bags. There were a few light bulbs missing which made the flat gloomy at night. No full length mirror in the top flat where we stayed. No clear instructions for aircon/heating so had to seek help.

Great value for money. The kids loved the neighbour’s donkey.

There was a problem with Wi-Fi at the apartment while we were there.

Vangelis is a great host! The view is really nice, it's very quite, the surroundings are great and there's a donkey next to the Veranda. Good location to spend some relaxing time close to the magnificent sea.

Everything was fine, great big apartment with many fruits to eat from the owner. We‘ll come back one day!:) 10/10 recommendation!

Everything. Vangelis the owner is a great man, always ready to help. The position of the appartment with stunning view of the bay, sunsets, gardens with people who love to work, lot of fruits, generous soil, patriotism of people in this part of Cyprus. Pomos is a good place far from the mass tourism which is difficult to avoid in Cyprus coastal regions. The appartment was equiped with everything, A/C in all rooms with interesting system of energy economy, good kitchen, great place for resting with family and host guests. Im very satisfied.
