OHH -S João apartments- Riverside

The property was clean and tidy and spacious living space and good value for money. Location was great also.

The WiFi didn’t work for the whole duration of our stay. We did contact the host and we were ignored for the first day and then followed up again for them to say it’s working fine even though we tried on 4 different devices. Check in was 4pm which is really late and when we asked if we could put our bags somewhere whilst we wait for the room as we landed at 9am, we were told not until 1.30pm. The lock on the door to the building was also very temperamental.

Loved the large apartment, fantastic location, really quiet. Had everything you would need for a few days although we did not use the tv or any cooking facilities. Communication with host was quick and they gave loads of recommendations for eating out. Would definitely recommend

The only negative is the bathroom could do with a deep clean

Nice spacious property, well equipped and close to all tourist attractions.

It would be good to have more pillows and there was a lot of noisy building work just outside the flat which was very noisy from 7:30 in the morning till 19:00 which made it hard to relax in the flat.

The apartment was not like in the pictures. There was not air conditioning. Apartment smelled humid and weird.

Great location in Porto! Easy self check in. Nicely updated.

No available parking nearby. Expensive garage around the corner and street parking that was never available. Ended up parking about 1km away in a pay lot by the river. They had a negotiated discount rate for 72 hours that was less than paying the 3 day rate. Due to its location, even during the day it is a pretty dark apartment. Shower drain was a bit sluggish and the toilet seat was very loose.
