Oporto Downtown View Apartment

Excellent location within Porto but can get a little loud at night. The apartment is lovely, functional and comfortable (with a lift).

Very spacious and clean apartment,

Had no street view as mentioned in property details. Had to leave the blinds down as we were looking straight across at other people apartments. Check in was very difficult as host was not very helpful, very poor communication and there was no lights in hallway upon our arrival.

Spacious apartment in great location

Whilst the apartment is very nice, the contact and assistance from the owner was very lacking. We had major problems due to the national power cut and were locked out the apartment building as the keypad didn't work. Apparently the locks had been changed and the owners didn't supply us with the correct key. They didn't answer my calls and I was put through to a French mobile answer message, so I can only guess they are not local. Their eventual response was less than professional and showed a real lack of care. We eventually rectified the key problem ourself but this all caused unwanted stress. If you choose this apartment, be prepared for no help should anything go wrong. We also had drilling noise from neighbouring apartment.

Very clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. Spacious. Great shower. Secure door. Thankful for the lift. Netflix. Comfy sofa to relax achy legs in the evenings. Used kitchen for simple meals. Proper fridge freezer. We didn't use dishwasher but there was a few tablets available. Washing up liquid and new sponge, tea towel. Often not provided so great! About 2 mins to river. Supermarket about 10 min max walk uphill- downhill with bags! Close to Dom Luis bridge and all the sights, absolutely best location. Even with windows open it was quiet. Used left luggage in souvenir shop 30 seconds away uphill just round the corner so handy for €5 per case. There were umbrellas to borrow. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Just a couple of little things that would have improved our stay-only tiny expresso cups., no good for us Brits 😁 Had to buy mugs. No large glasses for a long cold drink. Apart from that everything was great.
