Casa da Cordoaria by Oporto Soul

Location: Absolutely fantastic! Roof terrace, stunning for sunrise & Sunset. Apartment had lots of character.

The towels were very marked with stains /make up. Hairs on the bed on arrival. limited cutlery, only one tea spoon.

This is a place with a fantastic potential. Centrally located, just a walking distance from the Old Town, many buses stop nearby, quite a lot of restaurants... A roof terrace with a nice view over the Douro. The appartment layout is interesting, with one sleeping compartment placed into an entresol with a window into the main sitting arrea - our son went crazy of the prospective to sleep there... Besides, the host was kind enough to accept our arrival one hour early, which was so nice...

Despite of all my elogies, it should be noted that the appartment is quite underinvested. Some structures are flimsy, you are always afraid of breaking a door, or a window. There is an overall impression of wearedness. The bathroom is a bit uncomfortable. With a little investment it could become a 10/10 property, but now it is what it is. It should be noted that it is located at the third floor without a lift. Just be aware of it.

The roof terrace was huge with fabulous views over the city. The location was super convenient and lots of great places to eat only a few minutes walk away. Excellent shower. Lovely main bedroom and comfortable bed. Stylish furnishings.

The upstairs sleeping platform had limited head room and no storage space.

Superb Location. Sun Terrace great to relax in. Lovely Views. The building has a lovely traditional character. Easy and friendly communications via WhatsApp and allowing access building before check-in to drop off bags which was really appreciated. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property.

Nothing major, perhaps could do with some more glasses(wine)..no bottle opener/corkscrew when we were there but bought one and left it..so hopefully still there for future guests! Also lighting on terrace didn’t work so if you fancy an evening drink on the terrace after sunset you may need a torch or use your phone! A couple of sun loungers would make it ideal (there are plenty of chairs). These are minor issues and just observations. I would happily stay at this property again.
