Apartamentos Portodouro - Ribeira

Very clean apartment and helpful, friendly host who provided great tips for places to see and eat. The location near the water was very nice. The beds were comfortable.

There are a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment with no elevator. This was fine for us, and my senior mother managed but found it tiring.

Fantastic location in Ribeira neighborhood near the river walk, historic attractions, restaurants, and bridge ponte Luis to walk to Port wineries. The apartment was renovated modern amenities with AC/heat available and a nice terrace to sit outside. Communication was excellent, and we appreciated Valentim's recommendations for restaurants/sights. Walk everywhere and close to tram#1, bus 500, and metro.

Getting used to cobblestone streets and narrow sidewalks. Very charming city.

Location was fabulous. Located close to the river and walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. Be prepared for lots of walking and plenty of hill climbing as Porto is that kind of city.

Nothing at all we disliked (well maybe having to walk up several flights of stairs after a hard day of walking and sightseeing !!) but nothing at all we can criticise about the apartment.

Great air-conditioned 3 bedroom apartment. Great location, close to everything. Perfect little coffee shop around the corner.

Property can have excessive outside noise. Air conditioning was for the main communal area of the apartment. Bedroom can get a little hot for sleeping
