Daisy’s House - Stylish and central loft

Excellent location, two minutes away from the main shopping area. There is a late check out, in comparison with other stays and hotels, and always a lift quick and available - no issues with accessibility. The views from floor 7 were lovely.

One of the first things I noticed was the coffee machine was dirty. We would've liked to use it but were put off. Dish rack dirty - you wouldn't want to really put clean dishes on there. I cleaned myself - swept and wiped surfaces. It was dusty. If I rented out my house, I would dust skirting boards, top of doors, everything. Old photos, photos look new, but it's different irl. Probably nice ten years ago. Walls need scrubbing as they've got marks and finger and hand stains. Dirty fridge and dirty sofa, so I didn't trust to sit on it... On the bed, there was no pillow protection, dirty quilt - yellow sweat stains and dirty and dusty underneath the bed itself. As for comfort, the mattress is sunk, so could do with replacing. We had originally planned to buy food and cook in the apartment, but didn't want to anymore.. I bleached and washed plates and cutlery with boiling water before using them. The curtains are now yellowed and stained, not white like in the photos! Years and years of use? Not well cleaned between the guests who stayed before. We had ask for clean sheets and somebody came to change for us, as well as a kitchen dish sponge and kitchen paper towel.

El apartamento estaba muy sucio:restos de comida, manchas en el baño, suelo… Había muy poco menaje de cocina: 1 vaso y 1 tenedor, éramos tres personas. Tampoco había papel higiénico. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba y el calor, a veces, era horroroso. Avisamos con antelación de nuestra llegada y tuvimos que esperar casi una hora. Informamos de todo y el propietario respondió rápido, pero ni limpiaron el apartamento ni arreglaron el aire acondicionado. Eso sí, nos dejaron más toallas y cambiaron a mitad de la estancia las sábanas. Es un apartamento con muchas posibilidades, pero dejado respecto a limpieza, utensilios de cocina y pequeñas reparaciones.

Climatisation hs, manque de verres et de couvert . Bruit de l ascenceur .

The location is incredible. It's very close to a Metro stop and just down the road from the famous covered market and a fabulous pastry shop. It's very easy to explore Porto on foot because it's so central. The balcony on two sides of the room is was such a highlight. Perfect for watching the sun set over Porto. The room was safe and comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommend.

I think the floor wasn’t perfectly clean. Especially under the sofa. Also the fridge was a bit dirty

We had a lovely family stay in this cosy & stylish apartment with an amazing location in the city centre. The flat was clean & everything necessary was available. Great value for money!

The only minus was noise - you can hear a lift all the time as well as noise coming from outside even with closed windows.

Location is fantastic. Apartmwnt was clean.

Air con dis not work and the apartment is on the top.

The apartment was very stylised and inviting, the host was super flexible on both check-in and check-out times, and the location was spectacular! Great value for money!

The wind and elevator can be heard constantly throughout the day and night, so if you are a light sleeper, perhaps bring earplugs. I normally do not have trouble sleeping, so the sound wasn't too much of a problem for me, but it might be for others, so come prepared!
