Lusitania Garden Apartment - Jardim Privado

Really liked having an outdoor space in the evening. And I'd recommend Cafe Santiago just round the corner for the Francesina Sandwich (a local very high calorie delicacy!!)

Excellent communication and very accurate description of the apartment. Location was good with walkable area to restaurants, sites and grocery store. Clean, updated, spacious. Wine was in the refrig for us, too!

Perhaps hooks in the bathroom would be good on the door/wall. English directions for microwave and washer would be helpful.

Could have used more pillows on the bed.

Great location. Easy walking distance to everything. Very quiet apartment opening onto a private back yard. Beautifully furnished and very clean and comfortable. Definitely would recommend. Also- lovely hosts.

Well appointed for cooking, including oil,salt & pepper. Light filled property. Master bedroom with ensuite was very comfortable.

The second bedroom has not sound barrier from the living/dining/kitchen area. There is no dish washer.

Though in center of city, apartment is at rear of building with huge windows and garden access. Living area is bright and quiet, with large sitting and dining areas. Two full baths were a great. Host responded promptly and easy to work with.

Smaller bedroom a bit dim without much natural light. But comfortable beds!

Well located, with a warm welcome from two hosts who met us at the apartment on arrival. The welcome bottle of wine was a lovely gesture. The apartment was well appointed with stylish decor and excellent air conditioning — and great towels too!

While the main bed was reasonably comfortable, it was very low to get in and out of. This wouldn't suit everyone. There was also no lift for luggage, and the bathrooms were on the smaller side.

A very large apartment with quite unique geometry of rooms. A perfected sized garden reached directly from the kitchen. The bad from the master bedroom was very comfortable. We slept like babies. The kitchen is very well equipped. The living room is very generous. The apartment is 3 min walking to Praça dos Poveiros, where you can find the best Francezinhas in town. We strongly recommend Cerimónias Steakhouse restaurant just across the street where we experienced a wonderful Tomahawk steak. The location is no more than 20-30 minutes walking to the main touristic sites in Porto. Thank you, lady Soraya and your son, for such a good accommodation.

One of the nicest apartments we ever stayed in. Purpose designed for renting out, it seems, thus working very well. It is also properly isolated with good windows, so getting it warm via the air con wasn't a problem, even in February. There is also an extra radiator to get started. Everything else, cleanliness, location and the very friendly hosts were perfect, too. Also the beds and bathrooms.

Not a big thing for us, but the apartment doesn't have a dishwasher. And something to be at least aware of is that one of the rooms isn't fully closed up to the ceiling. Architecturally that makes perfect sense and it wasn't a problem for us as a small family. But for certain groups sleeping in that room while someone is still hanging out in the living room might be a bit too noisy.
