Inn Oporto Old Town Apartments

The apartment is nice and clean, located next to the railway station and right in the city center. The beds are comfortable and the overall standard is good.

However, as of May 2025 there is major construction work taking place right outside the apartment (a new Metro station) generating much noise both day and (sometimes at) night. You will need good earplugs in order to sleep, and if you are a light sleeper you certainly should consider other options.

Joana met us on arrival to give us keys and show us around. She also provided us with some useful information about attractions and restaurants for our stay

Excellent location. Our host Joanne was fantastic and kept in communication with us before and during our stay

The apartment was lacking in cooking equipment. When you have an apartment people like to eat in and this was difficult given the limited kitchen equipment. A washing machine is a must for an apartment

Would have liked some hanging space for twin bedroom

Beds were so comfy. And the apartment was so clean airy and tidy. Just a word of warning there are 46 steps to get to the property so don’t pack too much 😂

There is construction work going on right infront of the apartment and they start very early and finish late with the work. This meant that we all struggled with sleep. This coupled with a bar that is located under the building which means you get a lot of noise from people coming and going.

Great location, right in the centre which meant it was perfect walking distance to everything. Really clean and well presented apartment. Lovely host!

The noise. As it was so central, the noise at night was pretty intense and interrupted all our sleep. There is also works going on outside to build a new metro stop, so this was also very noisy. The host did provide ear plugs.

Central location, very comfortable with all the amenities needed for our stay. Great communication from the host.

The location is actually very good. Unfortunately, there is construction going on downstairs. It was the city festival on June 23, so it was very noisy. Fortunately, the landlord prepared earplugs for us.

No washing machine or place to hang clothes There is no elevator. This cannot be changed, but the landlord helped me move my luggage.
