apartment with balcony in the square

O espaço é bom.

Não havia ninguém para nos receber no check in. Normalmente os anfitriões sempre comparecem pessoalmente para explicar funcionamento, dar dicas, deixar pelo menos duas garrafinhas de água para os hóspedes… O apartamento necessita de reforma/modernização e um pouco mais de cuidado/capricho. Situação atual de alguns itens: cortina de plástico no chuveiro, colchão sem conforto, geladeira velha, cobertores e almofadas velhos e empoeirados.

Good quiet location apart from some building work next door that they only messaged about after booking. It wasn’t too noisy though and was very quiet at night. Nice to have a balcony. Has good Wi-Fi and lots of tv channels including in English.

I had trouble opening the door but probably my fault, I was very tired. One electric heater that tripped the electrics if the kettle was on at the same time. Not sure if it would be warm enough in winter. The bottom panel of the electric water heater was falling off (it had been taped up with tape) and wires were exposed.

La proprietaria è stata gentilissima e disponibile. L appartamento è molto comodo e vicino a tutte le zone più interessanti della città. Lo consiglio!

Carla met us at the apartment and gave us several recommendations of what to see and where to eat. We found these very useful and particularly enjoyed eating at the restaurant A Taska. Carla provided her famous orange cake, which was delicious (as well as bottles of water and orange)! The apartment had all we needed (bathroom toiletries, plenty of towels, powerful shower and plenty of hot water, plus well-equipped kitchen and good wifi). It's not right in the centre of the town, but not far to walk in, and there are several places to eat and drink nearby. It's in a quiet square away from the tourist hubbub (although see comment below about building work) and we enjoyed breakfast (Carla's cake!) in the morning sunshine on the balcony.

It's at the top of the hill, so a tiring walk back home at the end of the day. Also, there is some building work going on next door, so it could be a bit noisy between 8 am and 6pm (not all the time, but was very noisy one late afternoon).

Bardzo miła, sympatyczna uśmiechnięta właścicielka. Udzieliła wyczerpujących wskazówek. Mieszkanie położone niedaleko centrum. Pamiętać trzeba o położeniu Porto. Polecam.. p.s. Dziękujemy za pyszne domowe ciasto na powitanie.

Домакина ни посрещна с домашен кекс (изключително вкусен🤗) и безалкохолно, което беше много мило. Стаите са чисти и като цяло много удобно жилище. Местоположението на апартамента е много добро- близо до центъра . Препоръчвам го 🙂🤗🍀

The apartment is large. There is a lift..yeh.!! Host welcomed us with a yummy orange cake and lots of suggestions. A good supermarket is just up the road. Loved the train trip up the Douro river through all the vineyards. 7 Hour round trip went fast. Carla was wonderful. On our last day we left our cell phone in the apartment. Carla cancelled her appointment and came to the apartment. She then took us to the station so we wouldn’t miss our train. What a fantastic host.

Unfortunately there is major construction next door. However it is quiet at night and on a Sunday. It shouldn't disturb you much at all.
