MENAJE UN POCO ESCASO

Had three rooms with my family and all were spacious and comfortable. The location was central and close to all you could wish for. The host was very helpful and communicative. Well equipped rooms.

The noise. It's very close to a strip of bars and the bass could be heard every night, til 5.30am in one case. We moved to a room at the back away from the street but noise from the coffee shop below could be heard all day. Not the owner's fault but it affected the quality of our stay. Also there are a few design things that weren't ideal i.e. very dark rooms, erratic locks and security lights on the stairwell cut out very quickly which made it tricky for less mobile guests.

Hubo una confusión a la hora de elegir el apartamento. No estaba claro en la página web qué apartamento estaba reservando. De hecho, yo quería reservar uno exterior con balcón a la calle, y al llegar nos dijeron que habíamos reservado uno interior. El apartamento dúplex es interior, y eso no se dice claramente en la web. Está bien y es tranquilo, pero nos decepcionó no tener vistas. Filipe fue muy amable y la entrega de llaves funcionó muy bien. El edificio es antiguo y bonito, todo funcionaba bien, la situación excelente.

La posizione

Fredda e umida

Posizione centrale, disponibilità e gentilezza dell’host Filipe. Uscendo dall’appartamento ci sono ristoranti, bar e negozi. È un’ottima posizione per visitare Porto a piedi, le maggiori attrazioni sono tutte molto vicine.

Il lavandino del bagno troppo piccolo e poco funzionale. Ogni tanto dal bagno si sentiva odore di fogna. Anche lo scarico era un po’ difettoso.

Das Apartment selbst ist zweistöckig und hat wirklich eine raffinierte Aufteilung, was uns gut gefallen hat. Allerdings war die Küchenausstattung eher mangelhaft, auch wenn sie durch eine Schiebetür clever gelöst war.

Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war, dass die obere Toilette tatsächlich draußen lag und das Bad unten im Altbau leider schon ein bisschen schimmelig war – das ist wohl der Höhe des alten Gebäudes geschuldet. Trotzdem war es insgesamt sehr komfortabel und schön, und die Lage war einfach perfekt, um Porto zu besichtigen.

Great apartment right in the city centre. Had everything you could need including extra bathroom hidden on balcony! Instructions from Felipe were perfect, loved the restaurant recommendations. Had read other views about it being noisy but didn't hear anything. Wouldn't have minded anyway as that's what happens in cities. Would stay again.
