Aposentus - Your fabulous home next to Ribeira

A great spot close to the old town, with lots of historic interest for our eyes and brains, lots of good food for our tummies, and lots of steps for our exercise! Well furnished and comfortable.

Slight niggles - There was some noise from the restaurant below but not too much. A welcome pack of some sort is always appreciated.

Excellent location,very clean and great size for our group. Great communication with hosts, excellent value for money!

Ligging, echt top. Lekker restaurant ernaast, alles op loopafstand. Prima verder. Lekkere bedden.

Geen afvalzakken, compleet beslagen douche voor 4 pers.

Beautiful Apartment ideally sized for our family of four in an ideal location

A few initial issues with the property (no hot water) but this was all sorted within 24 hours by the very helpful Aposentus team. Especially Jaoa and Joanna

Location and the beds were comfortable, elevator, historic building, air conditioning, restaurants close by.

Where to begin.....the apartment has so much potential but isn't managed well with cleaning and maintenance. The walls are marked and stained and in need of a paint job. The window ledges and baseboards were dusty and dirty, as were the windows. The bedside table had glass rings and fingerprints on it and wasn't cleaned. The under sink area in the kitchen was dirty. The shower has mold growing between the tiles and on the ceiling because there is no running fan in the bathroom. The fabric furniture (sofa, chairs, carpet) is stained and in need of cleaning badly. There was a half used bottle of water left for us and no sign of the bottle of wine promised on the list. There was no toaster, no kitchen towel, and there are minimal tools in the kitchen. The blind in the bedroom is broken and can't be opened. The photos look great but just be aware of these things before you go. Too much use on this apartment and not enough attention paid to cleaning and maintenance. Hopefully they will be working on the maintenance soon..... The river views of the apartment is at the end of the street with a tiny sliver of "river view".
