"Good apartment, top location but too noisy for us"

Good apartment, clean, spacious, great location in the sense that it’s close to “everything” and in a lively and diverse area and a very kind and welcoming owner (?).

We didn’t get much sleep. We stayed two nights and were woken up repeatedly by the noise on the street, of people and traffic. The apartment is on the first floor and the windows are not isolated. It was warm so the rather small double bed plus matras protected by a plastic sheet made it uncomfortable. The air conditioner didn’t work in both bed rooms, which was, however, mitigated by the air conditioner in the living room. We would advise the owner to isolate the windows.
