"A pleasant stay"

The apartment´s located in a renovated tenement house, has two small balconies from which one can see a bit of the river and feel the bustle of a lively street beneath. Right below there's one of not so many corner shops that are open until late. It was my boyfriend's birthday trip and the host has kindly supplied a small surprise welcome gift.

The bedroom window overlooks an inner shaft that provides barely any daylight. Only one set of towels for 7 days and extra services are all paid extra. The city tax of €2/pax/night is being charged on site in cash.

The only thing that we had a hard time with was that there was no air conditioner. It would have been great but the week we were staying the evenings were very hot. And since there was only one fan, I let my kids have the fan who slept on the murphy bed. So I had no air flow in the bed room. It was very difficult to sleep due to the temperature.

Location was amazing

No a/c or cooling fan. A little portable a/c unit would have been amazing. Overall that had little bearing on the quality of our stay there. Lisbon is wonderful. Porto is magical.
