Easy check in (arrival time given to host who was present to give key and introduction to the property), Location was very central and right next to a strip of popular restaurants. Apartment was very clean and tastefully decorated. Despite being on a very busy street, the double window doors blocked out the sound perfectly. Wifi was good.

Privacy was slightly tricky as you could not have windows completely open without the brunch eaters on restaurant across the road seeing everything! Also note it is on the 2nd floor without elevator (not an issue for us though).

This is a great apartment. Easy to find, large, quaint apartment with kitchen amenities and more. Turn to the right is 2 breakfast charming comfortable and yummy locations, plus a bakery.and then onto the tourist location and Sao Bento train and metro. Then, within a couple of minutes, shop the Bolbao market. To the left are quaint resturants, benches to sit and relax, enjoy musical artisans at night. During the day, enjoy shopping restaurants, cappuccinos, and pottery. Continue to explore, the Tram is roughly 6 minutes walking, then the riverfront and Fado locations. While on the Tram, stop off in Foz. Can not miss an opportunity to visit the beach and all of the restaurants. Some spectacular spots to check out are Aviero, Costa Nova, and Duoro Valley, including food tours and Port wines. As a solo traveler, this was a fantastic location and could be comfortable for 2 travelers. The owners were fantastic with my traveling delays and scheduling for a driver to pick me up. I can nor wait to return.

Location excellent. Soundproofing excellent. Shower excellent. Clean and tidy, good communication. Facilities as described.

No separation between bedroom and lounge. To be fair we were warned of this and if it's a couple it would be fine but we were two friends, so it wasn't ideal. Not being able to open one of the balcony windows. The apartment is quite dark. Not enough loo roll and needs a new loo brush! Would have been a good idea to have been given 2 keys.

the location was great

The apartment is perfectly equipped. It is really comfortable and has everything you may need. The location couldn't be better and the hosts are really kind and helpful. We were a bit hesitant about the noise which could come from the main streets but we didn't have any inconvenient.

A gorgeous apartment in a perfect location, a short walk from Sao Bento train station. Many cafes, restaurants, and shops along this busy pedestrian street. The bathroom had plentiful hot water and great water pressure—the best shower we encountered in Portugal!

No complaints at all, just a suggestion that guests staying longer than three nights would appreciate a second set of towels. Also, there are stairs to climb so would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.
